While pushing full steam ahead on the promotional rollout of his latest album, Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude, Pusha T proved he still really is untouchable in the rap game by unleashing a new freestyle on Sway in the Morning Thursday (Dec. 17).

The Virginia-bred spitter and G.O.O.D Music president visited the morning show to have an in-depth conversation about his artistic vision for Darkest Before Dawn, pick out some of the LP's best lyrics and speak on who in the rap game could be considered his lyrical opponent.

"I think Kendrick...I think Cole," King Push said. "I feel like they super good and meticulous, like 'me' meticulous."

It's no surprise. Pusha T has proven himself to be a pillar in hip-hop since his Clipse days with No Malice. Push's debut solo project, My Name Is My Name, dropped in 2013 to widespread acclaim. Push's highly anticipated sophomore album was supposed to be King Push until Pusha dropped The Prelude on Dec. 18. Check out Push's impromptu freestyle ("it is the holidays, after all") at the 38-minute mark and stream Darkest Before Dawn here.

We've also highlighted the best coke rap lines from the album here (you know he's got many). "Talk numbers, but never talk 'em to me, though / When you're the link to what fits in the keyhole / The realest nigga to marathon on the RICO / The last cocaine superhero / I got the cape on to cover kilos / The villain wins, the evolution of Nino," Pusha rhymes on "Keep Dealing."
