Shy Glizzy Speaks on Chain Snatching Incident

We all take Ls at some point or another. It recently happened to be Shy Glizzy's time as he was relieved of his gold chain during performance in Memphis. But, according to the D.C. rapper, it didn't go down like the reports are stating.

The XXL Freshmen alumnus used Twitter to sound off on the incident. "Niggaz got tha chain off tha floor. that ain't no robbery, that's a hoe move," he tweeted.

He later partially blamed himself for the incident saying he got complacent in his surroundings. "I slip'd up and got comfortable but that come from tha amount of love I show other niggaz. never again," he added.

Glizzy ended his mini Twitter rant with the possibly cryptic cliche, "For every action, there's a reaction.. chain-reaction!"

The rapper's account of the night slighty differs from what was reported, but it could honestly be a case of the story getting bigger the more times it is told. As previously reported, Glizz was performing at a club in the Tennessee town last week when shots rang out and chaos ensued. In the rush to escape, Shy's chains came up missing, whether they were snatched or scooped up off the floor. Either way, it is clearly a lesson learned for the "Awwsome" MC.
