After Rick Ross’ “Color Money” circulated late yesterday (Dec. 2) hip-hop heads—and Toronto city councillor Norm Kelly—went into a frenzy after they heard what appeared to be the MMG boss taking shots at Drake and his camp.

Ross raps: “Color money got your bitch out on a world tour/My lil’ homie made a million on his girl’s tour/We back to back and down to wack a n—a unborn/Miami n—a got ’em changin’ all they gun laws/So run Forrest, got some shooters and they down, too/I got more money then that n—a that you signed to.”

The new record is off Rozay’s upcoming album Black Marketwhich drops this Friday (Dec. 4), and the Teflon Don understandably stood up for his fellow Maybach Music Group cohort Meek Mill.

Young Renzel was on Power 105's The Breakfast Club show recently and discussed "Color Money" and the lyrics that appeared to be aimed at Drake and presumably Lil Wayne and/or Birdman. "You know I just released 'Color Money' and it is what it is," he said. "It's a lot of different people that's going to interpreted a lot of different ways, it is what it is."

When Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy pressed Ross and he didn't deny or shoot down the shots plus avoided most of their question. An interesting point is during Rozay's last appearance on the Power 105.1, he said that the Meek Mill and Drake wasn't a real beef and even sees the two stars doing a song together eventually down the road.

With regards to whether he was taking shots at Baby or Wayne, Ross did say that he has no relationship with Birdman and he is on Lil Wayne's side in regards to the legal turmoil with Cash Money.  "For me to see the way things have transpired, I can't respect that, and I don't respect that," Ross said.
