Kanye West and Kim Kardashian Welcome Baby Boy

North West is officially a big sister. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are celebrating the birth of their baby boy today (Dec. 5).

Kardashian revealed the news that the couple's first son had arrived on her official website Saturday morning. According to the message, "mother and son are doing well." Baby Yeezus' name has not been revealed yet, but rumors surfaced over the last few months that Easton was a possible moniker. Let's hope they go for something a bit more original since North already has dibs on cardinal direction.

The baby's due date was initially scheduled for Christmas Day but a recent procedure the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star had to turn him from a breech position is likely what sparked the early delivery.

On Wednesday, the rapper accepted the Shoe of the Year honor for his Yeezy Boosts and gave a nod to Baby Yeezus' forthcoming arrival. “I’m waiting on my son to arrive any day now and I look at my daughter and I look at my wife and she’s rich,” he said in his speech. “And I don’t plan on being broke.”

News that West and Kardashian were going to have another baby surfaced in May after his wife revealed she was pregnant on her reality show. With Baby Yeezus finally here, 2015 is ending on a solid note for the Chicago MC. There may be no album release planned -- West may surprise us though since there's still 26 days left in December -- but the birth of his son is certainly the rapper's proudest accomplishment this year.
