Azealia Banks, the talented New York rapper who is notorious for online feuds, raised some eyebrows today (Dec. 23) with her tweets. Her sentiments have fans of both her and Rihanna speculating if she's criticizing the pop star, whom she was rumored to be collaborating with.

Many Rihanna fans have taken their frustrations to the social media platform, criticizing Banks and urging the singer to unfollow the rapper. (Banks does not follow Rihanna back.)

Last week, Banks was arrested following an incident at an NYC club in which she allegedly bit a security guard. According to Page Six, the altercation between the rapper and venue staff escalated after she was not recognized and allowed into a private party; while explaining who she was, she reportedly shouted that she was on Rihanna's album.

Banks released her stellar debut album, Broke With Expensive Taste, via Prospect Park last fall. The LP was initially recorded for--and turned in to--Interscope, who declined to release it, from which the rapper eventually departed. Despite label worries that no singles were likely to hit, Expensive Taste became a fan favorite and critical darling, re-establishing her as one of New York's most experimental MCs.

Rihanna has long been teasing Anti, her eighth album which has yet to secure a release date. The Barbadian star has sold more than 33 million records worldwide since her 2005 debut, and she scored three hits this year, with "Bitch Better Have My Money," "American Oxygen" and "FourFiveSeconds," which was a collaboration with Paul McCartney and Kanye West, who is expected to executive-produce Anti.
