A Kendrick Lamar fan is suing Lamar's longtime manager and Top Dawg Entertainment president Dave Free for banning her from a concert. TMZ reports that the fan, Whitney Larkins, was banned from a Kendrick Lamar show after Dave Free tried to get her to pay $10,000 for a backstage meeting.

Whitney Larkins reportedly purchased a $350 VIP meet and greet package for the show. Larkins wanted to get more time with Kendrick Lamar though and emailed his manager asking for three minutes of 1-on-1 time with Lamar.

According to the lawsuit, Dave Free told Larkins should get three minutes with Lamar for "a cash payment of $10,000." This figure didn't deter Larkins and she continued to pursue more information from Lamar's team on the matter. The night before the concert, Larkins received an email letting her know that she had been banned from the show and would be refunded her $350.

Larkins says she experienced "deep sadness" in the lawsuit. She is now demanding $1 million to make this go away. Despite this incident, Larkins remains a big Kendrick Lamar fan. She called Lamar "one of the greatest rappers alive of all time who is on par with Tupac."

It's hard to imagine Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free are too worried about this situation. The two are likely still celebrating Lamar's 11 Grammy nominations, which were announced yesterday (Dec. 7). Lamar's nominations include Album of the Year for his critically acclaimed To Pimp A Butterfly, and Song of the Year for his single "Alright."
