DMX's legal woes won't be stopping anytime soon. The New York rapper missed a court date today (Dec. 14) for a hearing on paying back child support to his ex-wife Tashera Simmons according to Bossip. When DMX failed to show up to Westchester County Supreme Court, Judge Paul Marx issued a warrant for DMX's arrest. DMX was already arrested in October for a contempt of court charge after his failure to pay his ex-wife.

After his October arrest, DMX told the judge he needed to be on the road to earn money. Judge Marx acquiesced, but let DMX know he need to be at his Dec. 14 court date.

Instead of showing up, DMX was in Las Vegas performing at the Foxtail Nightclub. DMX's lawyer told the judge that DMX thought the court date was Dec. 15, but the judge wasn't buying it.

"It’s going to be really hard to perform at the Westchester County Jail,” Judge Marx said. "[He] sat here at the table and said, ‘If you let me go, I’m coming back.’ Well, he ain’t here. It’ll be interesting to see if TSA picks him up on a warrant.”

Today's hearing was meant to reveal DMX's assets. Tashera Simmons' lawyer said they had been trying to figure this out for some time. Outside of the court, Simmons let it be known that she didn't want to see DMX arrested, but is frustrated by his actions.

"I just want him to own up to his responsibilities, so I can move on, so we can move forward,” Simmons told Bossip. “I don’t want to see him in jail. I want him to be an adult so we can move on. This is not a priority, There’s always an excuse.”
