In short time, DJ Khaled has risen as one of the preeminent Snapchat follows. The Miami mover and shaker documents his day-to-day life which often includes eating meals, watering plants and riding his jet ski at high speeds. He took his jet ski out yesterday in fact to visit Rick Ross's house for lunch, but found himself stranded at sea when the sun set and Khaled was too far from home.

The usually jovial and motivational Khaled can be seen in the above video visibly distressed. "The key is to make it," he says, riffing on a phrase he often repeats in his snaps. "It's so dark out here, we don't know where in the hell we at," he says later. "This is against the law and not even just that," he then adds, "this ain't right."

There was real drama to the snap story, as Khaled pleaded with subscribers to call for help. He has at times run into another type of trouble on the waters, repeatedly filming police as they write him tickets. In those videos, Khaled refers to the run-ins as obstacles, but nothing has really compared to the hurdle Khaled documented on the dark waters.

Khaled has enhanced his public persona in the months following the release of his eighth studio album I Changed A Lot. The collaboration orchestrator was featured in a commercial spot for Champs and received the keys to Miami recently. While Khaled never fully explains how he was rescued in his snaps, an explanation is expected from the vocal and verbose personality.
