Since breaking onto the scene in 2010, A$AP Ferg has become one of the most beloved and one-of-a-kind artists in today's generation of hip-hop. The 27-year-old Harlem, N.Y. native, along with his fellow A$AP Mob members, have helped push the New York sound into new creative directions. With their unique sense of style, they've helped redefine the close relationship between fashion and hip-hop.

Keeping the tradition alive of breaking boundaries in hip-hop, A$AP Ferg has had some pretty cool and interesting moments in 2015 thus far. From blessing a couple's wedding to hosting the first youth Health Fair in Harlem, the Hood Pope in his own ways, has managed to make an impact like no other.

Adding to his already interesting and successful 2015, Ferg launched his much-anticipated Traplord x Adi-Ease footwear and apparel collaboration with Adidas Skateboarding at Art Basel in Miami earlier this month. Along with the shoe launch, the rapper uncovered his work as a formally-trained fine artist and fashion designer.

Right before the event launch, he opened up to XXL about teaming up with Adidas. "I just seen what they’ve been doing with all of the artists from Nicki Minaj, Big Sean, 2 Chainz and every rapper you can basically think about," the MC said. "It’s just how they blew up and took their brand to a newer level just culture-wise, and how in tune they are with the culture. It felt only right for me to go to Adidas. I wear Adidas on a regular. I love what they did with Raf Simons, Jeremy Scott. I’ve always worn Y-3, so I’ve been a big fan of the brand for a long time, so it was blessing for me to work with them."

As Trap Lord fans await the release of the Ferg's sophomore project, Always Strive and Prosper, set for a January 2016 release, XXL presents you some of Ferg's most interesting moments in 2015.
