A North Carolina federal judge has thrown out a lawsuit filed against 2 Chainz by Christine Chisholm claiming that a video in which she is referred to as a thot has caused her upwards of $5 million in damages. In the ruling, the judge, TMZ reports, had decided that the term "Thot" did not reach a level of "extreme or outrageous conduct."

The lawsuit stemmed from an incident that took place backstage at a 2 Chainz and Cap 1 concert. Chisholm was filmed backstage for a video later titled "Is This Yo Thot?" posted to 2 Chainz' website. The video ends with Chisholm being asked to leave the venue by security. The original lawsuit claimed that the video had lead to further "harassment and verbal abuse" and that Chisholm had lost her job due to the incident.

The dismissal is likely welcomed good news for 2 Chainz, who has had a relatively quiet year, dropping two mixtapes since January. As recently as Nov. 12, the rapper had said he has two more projects in the works, including a joint album with Lil Wayne.
