2 Chainz made one Georgia family's holiday season really special. The Atlanta native and his Tru Foundation visited a disabled veteran in Palmetto on Saturday (Dec. 5) and surprised them with new furniture. He even offered to pay her rent for an entire year.

"It's hard to keep gas in the car, food in the house, and do everything by myself being a single parent," Dierdre Plater tells CBS 46. "I am on a fixed income." Plater, who recently had surgery and has been looking for a job for nearly a year, was overwhelmed by the gesture of kindness. "I love to see stuff like this happen for other people, but I never thought it would happen to me."

A portion of the proceeds from his Dabbing Santa sweaters collection helped fund the holiday gifts for the Plater family. CBS 46 reports that 2 Chainz is planning to use additional proceeds to help other families in need. Watch the report above.

Tity Boy dropped two mixtapes this year and recently said he has two more projects in the works, including a joint album with Lil Wayne.
