Here’s a Wrap Up of All the New Music That Came Out Thanksgiving Weekend
Thanksgiving weekend has passed and over the past four days, hip-hop was blessed with a bountiful amount of music. Seriously, 10 major artists released new projects, totally more than 100 new songs. So while music lovers stuffed their faces with their favorite food, they were also blessed with new music from Lil Wayne, Lil Bibby, Trey Songz, Yo Gotti and more.

Lil Wayne has been busy in 2015. The YMCMB general has already released Sorry 4 The Wait 2 and Free Weezy Album. Now he dropped the second installment of the No Ceilings mixtape franchise. Wayne snaps over Drake’s “Back To Back,” Future’s “Where Ya At,” Rico Richie’s “Poppin” and 2 Chainz’ “Watch Out.” The original No Ceilings came out on Halloween 2009. The tape featured memorable remixes of F.L.Y.’s “Swag Surf,” Jay Z’s “D.O.A,” and “Run This Town.” Lil Wayne reunites with Mannie Fresh and recorded a song with the newest YMCMB artist, Baby E. Other artist on the project are Future, Yo Gotti, Turk, Hood Baby, Lucci Lou, Jae Millz, Gudda Gudda, Shanell and Euro

Erykah Badu's But You Can't Use My Phone
Erykah Badu works closely with producer Zach Witnessin for the 11-track offering. The vibes off But You Can't Use My Phone is crazy smooth. It features verses from Andre 3000 and Atlanta rapper ItsRoutine who everyone initially thought was Drake. The irony is that Routine is listed as Aubrey Davis on SoundCloud. “I’m in love with this mixtape, it feels good,” said Badu of the project. “I think it’s a whole new frequency for the planet and I just wanted to do it because it’s inspiring me to write my new album—it’s kind of like the buffer in between.”

Chris Brown's Before The Party
After pushing back the release date of his forthcoming album Royalty, Chris Brown decides to bless fans with a surprise new mixtape. Since announcing he had a something up his sleeve for fans, CB delivers with the project Before The Party. The huge 34-track set features guest appearances from Wale, Tyga, French Montana, Fetty Wap, and Wiz Khalifa, Rihannna and Kelly.

Once Thanksgiving and Christmas season comes, Fabolous' fans can always expect a new project. His latest offering is Summertime Shootout. The tape features Nicki Minaj, Trey Songz, Bryson Tiller, Rich Homie Quan, Dave East, The Weeknd and others, with production from Sonaro, Cardiak x Critical, Araab Muzik and more. This of course is just the appetizer. Fab will be dropping his seventh studio album The Young OG Project 2 on Christmas Day.

Rick Ross has been going in over every single beat he can get his hands on for the last couple of months. Rozay decided to put them all together in not one but a two-disc mixtape tiled Renzel Remixes. On the 26-song offering, Ricky tackles everything from Adele’s “Hello,” and Future and Drake’s “Jumpman” to 50 Cent’s “In Da Club” and The Big Tymers’ “No. 1 Stunna.” His upcoming album Black Market hits shelves on Dec. 4.

Before the former XXL Freshman Lil Bibby drops his debut album he drops the third installment in his Free Crack mixtape series. Free Crack 3 features a well-known cast of artists including Future, R. Kelly, Common, Jeremih, Lil Herb and more. Production wise, Metro Boomin, Southside, Jake One, Young Chop, C-Sick and others hold it down.

iLoveMakonnen and Rich The Kid's Whip It
iLoveMakonnen and Rich The Kid first linked on ILM's March mixtape Drink More Water 5 on the song “Whip It” which also featured Migos. Eight months later the ATL rookies drop a full length project with the same title. Whip It has guest appearances from Rome Fortune, Migos, T-Wayne and Kay!, plus production from Murda, Sonny Digital and more.
“The motivation [behind Whip It] was what I deal with everyday,” Rich The Kid said at Atlanta’s A3C Festival in October. “I work really hard but have to deal with people purposely trying to get in our way. I know Makonnen feels the same way, that’s why the song has that much energy.”

Just a couple moths after dropping The Return mixtape in September, Yo Gotti is back with another installment in his Cocaine Muzik mixtape series. CM8 only features Big Sean on the song “Long Way.” Other than that Gotti is holding his own on the 10-song effort. Ben Billions, Youngstar, Greedy Money, DeedotWill and others handle the production. Gotti’s fifth studio album, The Art of Hustle is slated to drop early 2016.

ManMan Savage's Young N Reckless
ManMan Savage continues the momentum and released his new mixtape Young N Reckless just two months after his EP Smash Or Die dropped in September. The A-town spitta's latest project features Gucci Mane, Rich The Kid, Lil Uzi Vert, Big Gipp and Skippa Da Flippa and Zaytoven, Cool$hit, KC Da Beatmoster and others for production. The tape is hosted DJ Osh Kosh, DJ Speakerfoxxx and DJ MarcB. MMS also recently linked up with fellow ATLien Key! on the October mixtape Give Em Hell 2, the sequel to last year’s Give Em Hell, which paired Key! with OG Maco.

Trey Songz's To Whom It May Concern
Trey Songz dropped the tape, To Whom It May Concern, this past weekend. Fans got a sample of the project when he released two new tracks “Everybody Say” featuring MIKExANGEL and Dave East, and “Walls” featuring MikexAngel and Chisanity. Hosted by DJ Drama, THIMC contains 12 tracks with guest appearances from J.R. and Chisanity too. Rico Love, DJ Mustard, KE on the track, Mano and more provide beats.
