Rick Ross has his blinders on. The hefty--but not as hefty as before!--Miami rapper has spent the last two months shutting out the swirl of legal drama around him: a bizarre case that resulted in kidnapping and aggravated assault charges, not to mention a $5 million bail that puts the rapper's mansion on the line. He's also stood fast in the face of Meek Mill's botched Drake disses; despite arguably his biggest protege flailing in an attempt to derail the biggest rapper in the game, Ross finds his place in the upper echelon mostly unchained. Two months ago, he dropped Black Dollar, a mixtape that found him re-focused and re-invigorated. And a little over a month from today, on Dec. 4, Ross will drop Black Market, his eighth album on Def Jam. Today (Nov. 2), he revealed its blacked-out cover art, seen above.

The Maybach Music Group capo also spoke to Billboard at length about about that new LP, as well as his recent engagement and the future of his imprint. "I believe I've always been so successful on the black market, for a lot of different reasons," Ross says of the album's title. "And I just felt like that's the space we're in, that's the space the music is at right now. And who else better to engulf that other than The Bawse?" He also expressed a desire to work with Adele, whose "Sorry" he recently remixed: "Adele, I love you, baby. Get at me--I got a wonderful idea for us."
