Athletes just won't stop trying to rap. There's a select few who have at least done a competent job in rapping, but most are disastrous failures. Now, we've got another entry to add to the failure pile. Former Baltimore Ravens linebacker and current ESPN analyst Ray Lewis took to Instagram and gave listeners a preview of a track called "Can You Stand The Rain." If that's not enough, the Super Bowl MVP even said that he was dropping an EP.

As for the song, it's bad. In fact, it's down right horrible. Not only is Lewis' rapping a mighty struggle, but the production is also mediocre. One might think to cut Lewis some slack since this is just a snippet, but this is what he showed to the public to get them excited for the song. In terms that may better fit Lewis' wheelhouse, the 13 time Pro Bowler showed us a highlight reel of missed tackles to display the talent of a team's defense.

In his post-playing career, Ray Lewis has been entertaining personality on ESPN's NFL coverage. It's best he stick to that and leave the rapping to the professionals.
