The NBA season is in full swing, and Brooklyn Nets are off to a dreadful start, registering a 2-9 record. But there may be hope after all. Before singing the National Anthem for the Nets home game against the Atlanta Hawks last night, R.Kelly participated in shooting practice. Dressed in a plaid blazer, camel turtleneck and slacks, the king of R&B stepped up for a corner three and sunk it, with a cigar in his mouth.

Now, the corner three is the shortest distance to the basket, but this is the NBA 3-point line here, it's a good distance regardless. And Kells hit nothing but net. The Brooklyn Nets are currently shooting 28% from 3 point range and while Kelly says "That's the one y'all send YouTube," suggesting there were multiple takes, it wouldn't take much to increase the Nets offensive output thus far.

Kelly is gearing up to release his new album The Buffett, with singles "Wake Up Everybody" and "Switch Up" out now.
