Jimmy Winfrey, better known as the rapper PeeWee Roscoe, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison and 10 years' probation stemming from the April shooting of Lil Wayne's tour bus in Georgia. According to the Cobb County Sheriff's Office and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Winfrey pleaded guilty to six of the 27 counts he faced. (Though the charges to which he pleaded guilty were not immediately available, TMZ cites a source in the District Attorney's office who says all six were gang-related.) In August, prosecutors added domestic terrorism to a list of charges that already included aggravated assault, terroristic threats, possession of a firearm by a felon and criminal gang activity. Winfrey will be eligible for parole before his prison stint expires.

The shooting in question took place on April 26 on I-285 near Atlanta. The original indictment implicated, but did not charge Young Thug and Bryan "Birdman" Williams. At the time of the shooting, Winfrey was working as Thug's tour manager; prosecutors say that Winfrey made a phone call to a cell phone owned by Williams after the shots were fired. It is not known whether Wayne was on the bus at the time of the incident. In court documents, Winfrey indicated that the shooting stemmed from Williams' ongoing financial dispute with Lil Wayne. Long signed to Cash Money Records, Wayne has recently tried to extricate himself from the label, which refuses to release his long-awaited Tha Carter V.
