Nobody said change was easy. Or welcome. Or better, for that matter. The folks over at Twitter for instance up and changed the favorite icon from a star to a heart and people are up in arms over the switcheroo.

Ice-T, for one, has said, via Twitter no less, that he plans on boycotting the heart. "I used to favorite comments to let y'all know I see them... I WON'T be hitting this HEART... Just sayin." The SVU actor and rap game OG went on to elaborate saying that there's just something off about "hearting" another dude's tweet. There's already been a backlash to the backlash too, as Ice later tweeted that one woman had called him homophobic for the staunch stance. "Not that serious," he said in response.

Whether or not Ice's take is insensitive, the rapper deserves credit for being direct and honest. As he said on Sway in the Morning recently with regard to "Back 2 Back," "you go in right at the first word you start dissing a nigga, you let a nigga know right out the gate. It’s not out the side of your mouth, it’s not subliminal." Ice follows his own instructions here, letting the world knows that he's not messing with the heart. At all.
