Erykah Badu Drops Tracklist and Colorful Album Art

Erykah Badu has slowly been piecing together the rollout for her new project, and today she drops the artwork, tracklist and a few choice details. Badu had previously shared "Cell U Lar Device" and "Phone Down" from But You Caint Use My Phone, which will be released exclusively on iTunes and Apple Music on Nov. 27 and elsewhere Dec. 4. The mixtape will be her first project since 2010's New Amerykah Part Two (Return of the Ankh).

Badu wrote and recorded the tape exclusively in Dallas with producer Zach Witnessin in just 12 days. A few guests are promised though the tracklist appears below feature-free. The project maintains a telephonic theme, with each of the songs referencing our culture's reliance on staying inter-connected.

The release of But You Caint Use My Phone coincides with Badu hosting the 2015 Soul Train Awards airing Nov. 29th at 8 PM on BET. Badu had hosted the award show before but has had a hand in writing and producing this year.
