Ever the tireless workhorse and cultural impresario, ?uestlove, leader of The Roots, will be releasing a new book next spring detailing the culinary innovations and processes chefs have developed in recent years, GrubStreet reports. something to food about: Exploring Creativity with America's Most Innovative Chefs will be co-written by journalist Ben Greenman and feature conversations with a vanguard of modern day chefs. It is available for preorder now via Amazon.

?uest, who anchors The Roots on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, released his memoirs, Mo' Meta Blues, in June of 2013 also with Greenman's aid. The autobiographical text recounted ?uest's storied journey through the music industry including his relationships with D'Angelo, Erykah Badu, and J Dilla. With the Tonight Show gig, ?uest, and The Roots at large, have transcended genre and medium to become cultural figures of broad significance. In April of 2014, ?uestlove turned to New York Magazine to pen thoughtful essays on the resounding impact hip-hop has had on the black American experience.

Something to Food About will be released in April 2016. According to his Twitter account, the book, which will be ?uest's third, is just about finished:
