The Game’s New Album Debuts at No. 2 on Billboard 200 Chart

With 95,000 units sold, The Game's The Documentary 2 lands at No.2 on the Billboard 200 chart, one slot behind pop star Selena Gomez's Revival album. The placement marks The Game's seventh top-10 album to go along with 2014's Year of the Wolf (No. 7), 2012's Jesus Piece (No. 6), 2011's The R.E.D. Album (No.1), 2008's LAX (No. 2), 2006's Doctor's Advocate and 2005's The Documentary (No. 1). The Game has a chance to land towards the top of the charts again thanks to the release of The Documentary 2.5 on Oct. 16.

The No.2 debut of The Documentary 2 marks a domination of the top-10 by hip-hop. Right behind The Game's project is The Weeknd's Beauty Behind the Madness at No. 3, Fetty Wap's self-titled album at No. 4 and Drake and Future's What a Time to Be Alive at No. 5.
