Nicki Minaj is not someone you would describe to others as "shy." The Queen of New York recently lent her talent to a remix of The Weeknd's "The Hills," one of two singles from the Canadian singer's Beauty Behind the Madness to hit #1 on Billboard. The pair debuted the song during Abel's turn as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live; Nicki was an unannounced guest who was greeted uproariously by the hometown crowd. Her verse was the real star, though, teasing listeners with stories about form-fitting trenchcoats and somehow turning Joe Biden sexual. Lest anyone think that first story was a metaphor, Nicki took to her Twitter account yesterday (Oct. 13) to set the record straight:

It's interesting to note that Minaj says she recorded two different verses for the song; The Weeknd and his team must have known exactly what they were looking for, since Nicki wasn't the only one to hop on a remix. In fact, she might not even be the most famous rapper to try her hand at the song: Eminem also turned in his own version, making "The Hills" one of the songs with the most high-profile remixes since they days of the comically long posse cut. Nicki has had a lucrative, albeit musically quiet year, raking in money from her Pinkprint tour, which she shared with her boyfriend, Meek Mill. She hit venues around the world promoting the album of the same name, which was released in December of last year.
