Floyd Mayweather Jr. finished his career with an unblemished record. But despite his winning ways, he's been one of the most polarizing boxers in the history of the sport. His persona, fighting style and antics outside of the ring make him hard to root for, for some people. Not Mike Render aka Killer Mike. The Run The Jewels member recently took to Instagram and posted a long caption, under a picture of Floyd and his belts, praising the boxer. Check out his assessment, below.

While most people were feeling Mike's lengthy though-provoking write up, some people were pissed that the Atlanta rapper would have the audacity to praise someone who has been convicted of violence against woman. Several people commented they were unfollowing the MC because of his post uplifting Floyd, while others said there weren't feeling the boxer as a good example because of his past transgressions.

Mike later pointed out people's hypocrisy in another post. Under a picture of Floyd, former Atlanta Braves manager Bobby Cox, Jazz legend Miles Davis and John Lennon, Mike captioned, "All "Masters of their Craft" all have influenced & inspired me to Master My Craft. Unfortunately and I do NOT condone this all have abused women. Why is it only Floyd Drew the hate and disdain from my two prior post. I didn't intend on my post turning into this but I find the selective outrage on my Floyd post vs none on my Miles post simply amazing. Ok Y'all Have at it. I cannot wait to read your discussion. Love and respect to all."

As always, Mike has plenty of valid points. What do you think?
