Jeezy has been taking a political stance with his music since 2008's The Recession and when he appeared on Comedy Central's The Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore, Jeezy showed his support for President Barack Obama. While discussing a New York Magazine piece titled, "The Paradox of the First Black President," the trapper turned rapper praised Obama while his counterparts criticized the leader of the Free World for not doing enough for race issues and violence toward African-Americans. "He had to fix the economy, health care, things like that before he can just focus on a particular set of people," he said. "I don't think it's fair to him that just because he's black he's just 'the black president' -- he's everybody's president in this building." Check out the roundtable above.

Jeezy's Church In These Streets album is due out Nov. 13 and the veteran MC has been dropping music at a rapid pace. After a string of singles and loosies, Jeezy dropped a new EP over the weekend. Titled Politically Correct, the project features five new tracks and is produced entirely by D. Rich. Featuring a burning American flag as the cover art, Jeezy gives fans more food for thought as he gives more insight into his political views and stance on the world. When it's all said and done, perhaps Jeezy will return to his hometown for a run at local office and climb his way up the ladder.
