Jay Electronica Is Dropping a New Vinyl Project

The always elusive, at times reclusive, Jay Electronica will be releasing new vinyl soon, it just won't contain any new music. On Nov. 27, for a special black Friday Record Store Day, Mass Appeal will be issuing a new 12-inch featuring Elect's 2009 Just Blaze-produced songs "Exhibit A" and "Exhibit X" along with an instrumental of each track.

The announcement comes with no word on Jay's pending debut album Act II: Patents of Nobility (The Turn). As recently as last month, Just Blaze mentioned that he's received no update on the album, though he does posses a near-finished version on his phone.

The purple vinyl and this recently surfaced demo will have to tide fans over for the foreseeable future, that whole  beggars/choosers thing still standing.
