The actress and model Blac Chyna recently took to her Instagram to show off her new tattoo: the word "Future" tattooed in cursive across the side of her right hand. In case that reads to you as an ambiguous reference to Chyna's own future plans, she captioned the picture "Thought it was a drought," which the title of the first song on Future's #1 album from this July, Dirty Sprite 2. What's more: she posted the picture on Ciara's 30th birthday. (Ciara, the one-time star singer, was engaged to Future until they split last year; the pair had one son together, named...Future.) Yet despite this--and despite rumors that the two were getting cozy at clubs and video shoots--Future said on Twitter earlier today (Oct. 27) that he's single and not worried about relationships at present.

TMZ reports that Chyna saw the message and was slighted by Future's tweets. However, she still considers him "her man" and is okay with the fact that he's messing with other women because the ATL star sees her every weekend. To make matters even more confusing, it appears Blac Chyna is starring as the leading girl in Future's upcoming "Real Sex" video.

After his sophomore album, last spring's Honest, was met by tepid reviews from critics and fans, Future saw the relationship with Ciara dissolve and went on an aggressive run that would bring him previously unseen critical and commercial success. That fall's Monster was a bloodletting spiral; the first three months of this year brought Beast Mode and 56 Nights, the latter named for DJ Esco's stint in a Dubai jail after he was caught with weed in his luggage. Future has teased sequels to both Beast Mode, his collaboration with producer Zaytoven, and Monster, which was executive produced by Metro Boomin.
