How much music can a single man produce? Future may be putting Lil Wayne's early aughts run to the test as a recent tweet and Instagram post suggest he's got another project ready to release. In less than ten full months, Future has provided Beast Mode, 56 Nights, Dirty Sprite 2 and What A Time To Be Alive and now a fifth project may be in the wings. He posted a photo to Instagram early this morning with the caption plainly as "MONSTER 2." Just three days prior, the prolific rapper tweeted "Um ready to drop sum new...FBG".

The first "Monster" mixtape dropped Oct. 28, 2014, so perhaps an anniversary release is planned. The collective rap community will wait with bated breath as Future, the unstoppable force that he is, continues to drop ambiguous teasers. In August, frequent collaborator Zaytoven posted a picture of him and super Future along with a caption that implied that the second installment of Beast Mode could also be in the works.. “Zaytoven vs @future #ds2 #beastmode #webackcooking,” the “So Icey” producer typed under the photo.

The cover star of our Fall issue spoke to us about what he did differently with DS2 than his sophomore album Honest. "The whole album I recorded in Atlanta," he said. "It’s been surrounding myself with more of my family. Keeping my friends that’ve been with me since day one. It’s good for when you’re making music and your life has a huge change from where you come from, and as you get more and more success, you find those ways to stay humble, grounded. But the recording process for making this album was totally different. I was way more honest with myself, with my fans."
