A former housekeeper for Dr. Dre has brought a lawsuit against the music mogul claiming she was unfairly fired, among other allegations. Raquel Sagustume, who worked for the Dre family at his California home for 13 months, claims her tenure at the Dre mansion was filled with turmoil. According to DailyMail, Sagustume says she was bullied by other staff members but Dre and his wife Nicole failed to intervene. She also says other workers, who were intimidated by her skills routinely gave her extra work. Due to the stress and extra work, the woman says she was hospitalized after suffering a burning pain in her body that eventually spread to other parts of her body resulting in a panic attack.

Before losing her gig Sagustume was making $1,870 per week. She is seeking punitive damages for discrimination and harassment as well as compensation for missed payments for overtime, missed meals and vacation time.

Dre has been enjoying a great year. The N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton which was released back in August did crazy numbers at the box office. The film has grossed nearly 200 million in theaters. A week before the movie was released, Dre dropped his first album in over 15 years when he put out Compton: A Soundtrack by Dr. Dre to rave reviews.

It just goes to show, if you are a rapper it pays to keep a good lawyer on deck.
