Eminem has had a career mired in controversy due to his lyrical content but away from the stage, Em is easily one of the more charitable MCs in the game. In January, a terminally ill teenage fan was able to meet the superstar rapper a day before he passed away thanks to the power of social media. This week, 10-year-old amputee Teejay Stainer, a huge fan of Eminem, caught the attention of the rapper via social media. Stainer's parents posted a photo of their son with his prosthetic leg that is customized with a tribute to Eminem and the caption, "These are my Eminem legs I've had made. My wish is for Eminem to see them." According to the UK publication, Southern Daily Echo, the photo was shared over 20,000 times and shortly thereafter a package containing a signed copy of Eminem's Recovery album with the message, "To: Tee Jay - Saw ur pic & read ur message! Thanks for the support!" showed up at the family's front door:

"I was amazed when I saw the CD," Tee Jay told the Daily Echo. "I just wanted to thank him for getting me through the difficult times and show him how dedicated I am. I think he sent me that album in particular because of the recovery that I've made."

"We agreed to upload the photo as he never complains and we felt he deserved some recognition for everything he's achieved," added the child's mother, a self-proclaimed Eminem fan. "We warned him Eminem might never see it as we didn't want him to be disappointed, but we were amazed by the reaction. He was so excited when we received the package, but he waited to open it until his dad got home from work. He was over the moon to read Eminem's message--it means the world to him."
