Drake's recent comments about his split from the Nickelodeon show Degrassi: The Next Generation, which he starred on in the early 2000's, has at least one of the producers of the show charged up. As previously reported, Drizzy recently claimed in an interview with W Magazine that he was ousted from the teen sitcom after he was forced to choose between music and acting.

“That was part of the reason I was kicked off the show,” Drake explained. “Back then, I’d spend a full day on set and then go to the studio to make music until 4 or 5 a.m. I’d sleep in my dressing room and then be in front of the cameras again by 9 a.m. Eventually, they realized I was juggling two professions and told me I had to choose. I chose this life.”

Degrassi co-creator and executive producer Linda Schuyler has responded to the now record breaking rapper's comments in a recent interview with Buzzfeed and she doesn't agree with Aubrey's assessment of the way things went down in the end. “I’m hoping there was just some miscommunication here, because if that’s the perception nothing could make me sadder,” said Schuyler maintaining that there was never an ultimatum given to the 6 God.. “Not only did we know [about Drake’s workload], we helped him with it.”

Either way, it looks like Drake made the right choice by choosing to stick with music. But his heart is still in acting a little bit.
