Damon "Dame" Dash lost a child custody ruling to his ex-wife Rachel Roy in court Thursday (Oct. 8). TMZ reports that the main reason he lost the recent custody hearing for his two kids is because he smokes too much marijuana. The two parents have been in a heated custody battle for a while now. Roy won full custody of their 15-year old Ava and seven-year old Tallulah in April. Yesterday at the hearing, Dame want the L.A. judge to drop the monitored visits he currently has with Tallulah. However Rachel told the judge that Dame smokes weed around their children and during one visit the kids ate Damon's pot-laced baked goods. The judge upheld the decision for Dame to continue monitored visits with his seven-year-old daughter and he cannot smoke weed 24 hours before each visit. Dame was reportedly visibly upset and had to be "almost dragged out of the court."

Also in April, Dame sued Roy for $2.5 million, alleging that she is guilty of breach of contract and interfering with cash distributions that were due to him in relation to Royale Etenia LLC and Topson Downs, two fashion companies which the couple founded together.

In other related news, Curren$y and Dame Dash finally ended their on-going legal battle. According to The Jasmine Brand, the two have finally settled their $3 million dollar lawsuit out of court for an undisclosed amount. In 2012, Spitta filed a lawsuit against Dame for releasing two of his projects, Pilot Talk and Pilot Talk II, without his permission after their business deal went up in flames when Curren$y was at Warner Bros. Music. The NOLA rapper took Dame to court in 2014, where he asked for $2.9 million in damages and $95,000 for lawyer’s fees.
