A Compton-based rapper was shot in the head with an AK-47 and managed to survive. But that isn't all. The rapper, whose real name is Teriq Royal, then proceeded to take out his cellphone and talk a selfie video. The young rapper captured the result of the incident on video and shared it on Facebook. The shooting happened at a gas station. In the video the bloody MC calmly brags about surviving the ordeal and being a real rapper. "I'm really a rapper now I just got shot," he said. "Me and my soldiers we out here." Royal then shows one of his associates, who's also appears injured, in the video. Watch the graphic NSFW video above and below.

In the caption for the Facebook video, Royal thanked God for allowing him to survive. "God let me walk away from an AK-47 dumping rounds at me and my bros," he wrote. "I just want y'all to know God is real and God loves you. [We're] living in some dark days, we wasn't even his targets, he was just trigger happy." The young upstart also showed off his X-Ray image on Facebook. In the picture, viewers can see the bullet fragment. Royal calls the small piece of metal his "third eye for the rest of my life." He does state that the fragments would of killed him if it went an inch deeper. Royal plans on rapping about the incident in his future music.
