Though XXL's position on most NBA relocations is officially neutral, this writer still harbors ill will toward Memphis for stealing the Grizzlies. Now, in the Tennessee city's defense, it's been exporting gritty, daring rap music at a remarkable pace--the presently incarcerated Young Dolph is fresh off of dropping one of the year's best mixtapes in 16 Zips. Now Yo Gotti, one of the city's most important rappers sine the turn of the century, is back with another full-length. The Return compiles cuts from volumes one and two of his brief The Return of Cocaine Muzik series alongside completely new material. Joining Gotti on the tape are Fetty Wap, whose debut album comes out in only two weeks, Blac Youngsta, Zed Zilla, French Montana and Boosie BadAzz. It can be streamed in its entirety below via DatPiff.

This January, Gotti dropped Concealed, a DJ Drama-hosted tape that took aim at Epic, the label that had been keeping Gotti's The Art of Hustle on the shelf. It came complete with contributions from not only Boosie, but Kevin Gates and Jadakiss. It seems that the retail LP might finally be on the way, however, with the help of the Young Thug-assisted video for "Rihanna." After the overwhelming success of the N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton, Gotti freestyled over Eazy E's breakthrough single, "Boyz N The Hood." And as always, he's been keeping busy with guest spots for a bevy of rappers, like Gunplay, Snootie Wild and more.
