In his quest to for credit as a serious artist, O.T. Genasis has enlisted some of rap's biggest names in an attempt to put himself over the top. His latest mixtape, R&B: Rhythm & Bricks, is carefully engineered to barrel through your Twitter timeline and RSS feed at a blistering pace, catching looks off the strength of its big-name collaborations. Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, K Camp and Lil Wayne--with whom Genasis scored a minor hit in "Do It"--join others on the 15-track set. Stream Rhythm & Bricks in its entirety below, courtesy of DatPiff.

Genasis broke onto the scene last year with his massive, viral hit "CoCo"--one of a new breed of songs that owes some of its early buzz to the short-form video sharing app Vine. Having amassed over 40 million views on Youtube alone (split across several version of the song and its accompanying videos), "CoCo" quickly became the young MC's calling card, but threatened to overshadow the rest of his output. Often mistaken for his peers from Atlanta or the rest of the South, Genasis actually hails from Long Beach, Ca., the home of Snoop Dogg and 2015 XXL Freshman Vince Staples. He ran into a bit of legal trouble earlier this year: When he was pulled over for running a traffic light in Los Angeles, LAPD officers discovered two warrants for the rapper's arrest due to outstanding traffic violations.
