G Count and Nascent prove there's more than just drill music coming from the Windy City. On the rapper/producer duo's new EP, Ugly, Count paints a gritty picture of police violence, poverty and murder while Nascent provides cinematic instrumentals to add to the scenery. This is G Count's first solo project since and the 8-track effort serves as a precursor to his upcoming EP, God Loves Ugly. Formerly of the L.E.P. Bogus Boys, Count is making his bones as a solo artist and if Ugly is any indication of what's to come, the talented wordsmith will have no problem navigating his way through the game. G Count made headlines last spring when he hopped on Nicki Minaj and G Herbo's "Chiraq" beat to take shots at The Game for his song "ChiRaq to LA." Before the problems escalated, T.I. stepped in and smoothed things out with a conference call between himself, G Count and The Game.
