Drake and Future’s Joint Album ‘What A Time To Be Alive’ Is Here
After rumors that Future and Drake are coming out with a joint project, they finally released their joint album What A Time To Be Alive. This OVO Sound and Freebandz Gang is sure to be added in everybody's playlist. Rumors began to swirl when the two superstars after went on the Jungle tour together. A couple well-connected people like DJ Skee and former Dreamchasers Records MC Louie V Gutta both tweeted that the project was imminent; one OVO fan account appeared to catch OB O’Brien posting the news on Instagram; and Datpiff even posted a countdown to a tape they called OVOFBG (Drake’s October’s Very Own combined with Future’s Freeband Gang), which has since been deleted.
The two MCs are known to be good friends, with a slew of collaborations and a couple successful joint tours under their belts already. It shouldn’t even come as that much of a surprise; the ATLien has been talking about the possibility of a full album with Future and Drake for almost three years now. And with Future telling fans at Made In America in Philadelphia that he was coming out with another album before the end of the year, fans have been connecting the dots.
Things began to run rampant after the sudden appearance of some epic cover art and a tracklist found its way onto social media. Soon after a countdown website website called Put It All In A Plastic Bag. The end time was 11 p.m. on tonight.
The two MCs have collaborated on multiple times over the years such as "Never Satisfied," "Shit (remix)," P Reign's “DnF” and most recently “Where Ya At" off of Future's most recent album DS2.
