The Long Beach native garnered widespread attention last year with "CoCo," the barked, minimal ode to less-than-legal uses for baking soda. Earlier this year, he ran into some minor legal troubles when California police pulled him over for running a red light, then found the rapper had two warrants for prior traffic violations. Genasis is signed to The Conglomerate, the record label owned and operated by none other than Busta Rhymes. Rhythm & Bricks drops at noon EST tomorrow on DatPiff.
