Tensions between Future and NFL quarterback Russell Wilson were high over the summer after photos of Future's son hugging the star quarterback during Seahawks training camp emerged on social media. Wilson, who is dating Future's baby's mama Ciara, felt the wrath of #FutureHive and the ripper, who is riding an amazing hot streak, responded with "don't direct my tweets to know [sic] punk ass hoe." Ciara tried to get Future and Wilson to have a sit down but to no avail and the rapper seems to have no interest in speaking with the Super Bowl champ.

With the football season here, people who work in and around the league are doing interviews all over the place and one that caught the interest of hip-hop fans was a sit down Billboard did with Seattle Seahawks in-house selector, DJ DV One. The mix master revealed that players constantly request Future songs but he feels uncomfortable playing any songs from the MC's catalog when either Russell Wilson or Ciara is around.

"This year, I've been getting a lot of requests for Future," says the DJ. "But that dynamic is weird too, because I can barely play Future with Ciara running around and that's her baby's dad. It's just that he has a dope-ass album out right now, players like to hear it, it definitely gets you pumped up -- even though it's low-tempo, it's still stuff that you want to hear -- and then you've got Ciara running up with little baby Future and she's dating Russell so it's like, 'Oh fuck.' If they were to ask me to play 'Tony Montana' I'd be like, get the hell out of here. If they ask me to play 'Commas' or 'Trap Niggas' or any of this type of shit, I'm playing that all day. It's a weird balance -- how do I play this and feel comfortable?"
