Royce da 5' 9" is ready for round two. The Detroit MC and Slaughterhouse member recently took to Twitter and hinted at making another album with legendary producer DJ Premier, a follow up to their 2014 release PRhyme.

Yesterday, Royce raised eyebrows among hip-hop heads when he sent out the Tweet #PRhymeTWO while @ing Preemo. A short time later he added, "I need to let these ideas out my brain bruh @REALDJPREMIER." He then started reaching out to artists about getting on the project including Eminem ("You wanna hop on this #PRhymeTWO @Eminem ? I miss rapping with my right hand ...."), Kendrick Lamar and The Game. Like the first project, the second version will be expected to be a bar fest. Royce confirmed as much adding, "You gotta be able to spar..." and, "We're promising blood." This definitely sounds like something fans of real lyricism can get happy about.

Royce and Preem dropped their debut collab last December after announcing the project three months prior. The album features guest appearances from rappers Killer Mike, Jay Electronica, Common, Ab-Soul, Schoolboy Q, Slaughterhouse, Mac Miller and Dwele. The album debuted at No. 59 on the Billboard 200 chart after moving 13,547 copies in it's first week on shelves and was spearheaded by the lead single "Courtesy."

Who knows. Maybe we can get the sophomore version before the end of the year.
