Raury, who's gearing up to drop his debut album All We Need on  Oct. 16, was the musical guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night (Sept. 22) and made a pretty strong political statement during his performance. The 2015 XXL Freshman wore an anti-Donald Trump Mexico soccer jersey while making his first national television performance. The shirt had Trump's name crossed out with a big red X on the back.

While speaking with VICE, the Atlanta rapper explained why he wore the jersey in light of Donald Trumps recent comments about Mexican immigrants. "Trump embodies separation, solving problems with anger, fear, and personal differences," said Raury. "I'm all about the opposite, about being inclusive and open." Take a look at Raury's performance below.

The ATL rapper recently announced his headline The Crystal Express Tour for this fall. The 17-date tour kicks off on Oct. 29 in Philadelphia and will continue to major cities as New York, Toronto, Chicago, and Los Angeles, ending on Nov. 24 in San Francisco. Tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 25.

Ironically enough, prior to Raury hitting the stage, Donald Trump sat down to speak with Stephen Colbert. The real estate mogul discussed his plan to build a non-penetrable wall across the Unites States/Mexico border in hopes of mitigating the amount of immigrants that enter the U.S. In comparing his wall to the Great Wall of China, Trump states, "We can have a great and beautiful wall, we'll have our border, and guess what, nobody comes in unless they have their papers."

Trump also played a game where Colbert read quotes belonging to either Trump or Colbert's ultraconservative Colbert Report character. Trump would have to guess what quotes were his or Colbert. Quotes such as, "It's freezing and snowing in New York. We need global warming" and "Medicare is like a nice set of cufflinks. Nobody wears cufflinks anymore." Watch both clips below.
