Pharrell Says N.E.R.D. Is Making a New Album

N.E.R.D. last released a full-length project in 2010 when they dropped Nothing. Over the past 12 months or so, the group, which consists of Pharrell, fellow Neptunes producer Chad Hugo and Shay, has been making more and more noise about an upcoming project. In late 2014, Pharrell and Shay hinted at a new project during a performance in London and in January the trio popped up for new music on the SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out Of Water soundtrack. In August, Pharrell premiered a new track on Apple Music's "OTHERtone" show. There is no other news on the new N.E.R.D. project outside of this simple tweet, but it's a start.
