Lupe Fiasco has something up his sleeve. The Chicago rapper recently took to Twitter to slickly share the news that he is working on the sequel to his sophomore album, Lupe Fiasco's The Cool. "Be patient...its gonna be a while but we hard at work #staytuned #cool2," he typed. Fans quickly started to bombard him with questions concerning the teased release to which he replied, "Not taking any questions at this time #cool2 thank you for you're interest..." Come on, fam. You can't just drop the bomb then close up shop. But yeah, Lu is petty like that. With his tweet, he did offer a possible artwork which consists of a white skeleton hand holding up the number two.

The original Fiasco's The Cool dropped on Dec. 18, 2007. The album debuted at No. 15 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, pushing 143,407 units in its first week on shelves. The album featured appearances from Snoop Dogg, Gemstones and Mathew Santos and production from Patrick Stump, Al Shux, Chris & Drop, Chris Goss, Le Messie, Simonsayz, Soundtrakk and Unkle. Spearheaded by the hit single "Superstar" and tracks like "Hip Hop Saved My Life" and Paris, Tokyo," the LP was nominated for four Grammy awards in 2009, including Best Rap Album.

Lupe has already revisited one prior project this year. In August he dropped the project Pharaoh Height 2/30 which is a continuation of a mixtape series from prior to his debut album.
