Lil Wayne was a guest on ESPN's Cari Champion's podcast “Be Honest” and spoke about a bunch of topics. He discussed Lil Weezyana and how proud he was with how the show went and the amount of money that was raised for the Hurricane Katrina charities. He discussed Straight Outta Compton and N.W.A, the NFL, the moment when Jay Z called him up to tell him: “I see you,” and a ton more.

One of the most interesting things he spoke on is his relationship with Drake. Wayne helped discover Drake and put him on the major platform when he signed Drizzy to Young Money. Weezy said he used to tell the Toronto MC that he shouldn't change his style just because he's apart of YMCMB. "Don't change anything, don't think cause you coming over here by me that you need to rap about the things that I rap about. Don't do none of that," he said. When asked about the recent Drizzy and Meek Mill beef, Wayne side-stepped the questions but thinks "everyone" enjoys Drake's Meek diss song "Back to Back." Cari then asked Wayne who's a better rapper between him and Drake right now. Wayne replied, "I annihilate that guy," while laughing.

Wayne also gave an update on Tha Cater V. “I work every single day,” Tunechi told ESPN’s Cari Champion on her podcast. “I’m in the studio every single day. I’m not working on any certain thing, I just be working. So for me to say this or that, I’d be lying. I do have Tha Carter V finished, though. What I am working on right now is a way, a deal, and a comfortable deal to put Tha Carter V out.”
