Joey Badass Shares His Pre-Show Rituals in “Inside the Mind”

Joey Bada$$ gives fans a look inside his mind on Cinematic TV's series called "Inside the Mind." Views get an idea of the artists' pre-show thoughts and rituals. The video shows Joey Bada$$ just before he took the stage while on his World Dominationtour. The Brooklyn native explains that he usually needs time to himself before running up to meet the crowd. "I need some space so I can clear my head and get ready to present my energy to the crowd of raging fans," said Joey. "Usually when I'm doing a lot of activity before I hit the stage, my mind gets really cloudy, so it's really important that I get that time to myself before I hit the stage." He goes on to talk about the feeling he gets when performing at home in front of family and friends before comparing this to touring around the world. "I always tell people this but New York is a tough crowd. All of the major cities in the world are probably the toughest crowds," he said.
