DMX is free after a two-and-a-half month bid in an upstate New York prison for unpaid child support and is looking forward to being a man of the people once again. The Yonkers, NY rapper sat down with ABC's Buffalo, New York outlet for an interview and a healthier looking X commented on his fame and how he's happy to still be a relevant face in the world. "I jaywalk and it's in the news," said DMX. "It's international news. That's a good thing. That means people care." The multi-platinum but oft-troubled MC also mentioned that he doesn't love everything that comes with fame, though, saying that he can't always determine who is truly looking out for him."That's the one thing I hate about being famous. You never know who really loves you because everyone is always there. If their love is never tested, then you never know."

More importantly, the report also says that DMX is getting back in the studio to work on new music and the rapper explained his approach. "I take whatever I've been through, capture it, spend time with it and give it away," he said. "And because I give it away, I benefit from it."
