Diddy Won’t Face Criminal Charges for UCLA Football Kettlebell Incident

Diddy can breathe easily now. According to TMZ, the business magnate will not face criminal charges for the UCLA football incident with Sal Alosi, the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the team, back in June. The Los Angeles County District Attorney will conduct an informal office hearing on Oct. 15 where Puff, his lawyer Mark Geragos, and others involved will appear, according to reports. The hearing officer may choose to require Diddy to attend anger management classes or other lesser forms of punishment at his disposal.

Earlier this summer things got heated between the “Finna Get Loose” rapper and Sal Alos. Puff believed Alos was picking on his son Justin and reportedly attacked the coach with a kettlebell. He was later arrested and charged with battery, assault with a deadly weapon and making terrorist threats. After the altercation, Justin was not allowed to practice with the team. The felony charges was later dismissed the by the L.A. County District Attorney and Justin was allowed back on the team. During an interview with Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club in August, the Bad Boyz leader touched on the highly-publicized incident, saying that he’s no longer allowed to attend UCLA football practice.

Now that the UCLA drama is almost behind him, Puff can redirect his attention to putting out new music. He’s reportedly working on No Way Out 2 and Money Making Mitch, so we'll have to wait and see.
