After failing to get it done in his hometown, Chief Keef announces he will have a hologram concert in Los Angeles in promotion of the upcoming double-album version of his new LP Bang 3. Dubbed the Bang 3 Hologram Fest, the event will take place September 18 at the Fonda Theatre. The show portion of the event will start with Keef performing in-person at the Fonda. After the show, an after party will take place in the parking lot where the "Don't Like" spitta be will bring out his hologram to rock the crowd. The show will start at 7 p.m. ending at 11 p.m.

The whole show will be streamed by FilmOn.com. As an added incentive, those people who sign up with the premium option, will be able to chat directly with the Chi-town rapper. Keef dropped a single album version of the project in August, but later promised a double disk which will come out on the same day as the concert.

This hologram show has been a long time in the making. Chief Keef initially planned to have a hologram concert to benefit the family of the toddler killed by a car fleeing the scene of Glo Gang rapper Capo’s murder. But after much opposition, the show never went down after being canceled. Keef said city officials hated on him. ”They don’t want to see a young black man be successful and try to do something good,” he said. “It’s crazy.” He added, “If you ask me, man, fuck the mayor with a sandpaper dick.”

The show in Los Angeles should have a different outcome.
