A Tribe Called Quest will reissue their 1990 debut album Peoples' Instinctive Travels And The Paths of Rhythm on Nov. 13 via Sony Legacy. The re-release will feature new remixes by as-yet-unnamed artists and will be remastered by Bob Power (D'Angelo, De La Soul, The Roots)

"I had this album in my head for years before I did it," Q-Tip said in a statement. "Looking at it overall, to see the thoughts of a 16-year-old gain any kind of acknowledgement makes me feel like I have arrived ... But to see it in this incarnation ... I'm humbled."

"This album means a lot," added member Ali Shaheed Muhammad. "It was the beginning of our careers; the beginning of our imprint; the beginning of seeing life the way we saw it, and being able to put it down in words and music."

The iconic hip-hop collective that blended jazz and rap for five albums will pay homage to their debut's 25th year anniversary. In 2013, Tribe reunited for two shows to support Kanye West's Yeezus tour at Madison Square Garden. A Tribe Called Quest has released a teaser video to celebrate the reissue.

Tribe was featured on the Ricky Famuyiwa-directed film Dope's soundtrack, which promoted a nice mix of classic songs and new-school artists.
