Taking a break from his budding comedy career, Yasiin Bey blesses us with a rare new video for "Basquiat Ghostwriter." The clip is shot in a surveillance/thermal camera style and features quick cuts of Basquiat spray painting buildings, Mos recording in the booth, shot os famous art work and more. A lot is packed into the just-over-two-minute video and requires several viewings just to catch up on all the references Bey drops. Peep the visual above.

After a brief hiatus, Yasiin Bey has been back in the public eye. In April, the original Pretty Flacko, Bey, joined the new-age Pretty Flacko (A$AP Rocky) on stage in London for a performance of the Brooklyn rapper's undisputed classic, "Ms. Fat Booty." Spending all of his time outside of the United States these days, the MC popped up earlier this month in Canada for his first ever stand-up comedy set. The multitalented performer spoke on the Meek Mill vs. Drake beef saying “The male ego is a boring place” and cracked jokes about Kanye West’s amazing mic drop at the Pan American Games finale. The rapper/actor/stand-up comedian also spoke on how it’s been his dream to be a comedian “My dream had been to do stand-up comedy, and I’m sitting down,” he said. “Don’t I look like I’m living my dream? I’m here living my dream, and I look like Tyler on the cover of that album.”
