Wu-Tang Clan Affiliate Popa Wu Says He Spoke to Action Bronson Like a Son
Wu-Tang Clan affiliate Popa Wu took to Instagram Tuesday night (Aug. 11) to post a photo of him seemingly stepping to Action Bronson for his comments about Ghostface Killah. Although Popa posted a still photo, his and Bronson's demeanor in the picture led many to believe it wasn't the friendliest of interactions.
Yesterday, Wu reposted the photo on Instagram, this time with a very long message to clarify what really happened between him and Mr. Wonderful. According to the Clan associate, he's been getting heat for stepping to Bronson at the late Sean Price's wake, but the interaction was not negative and he meant no disrespect to Price's family. As far as his talk with the Queens rapper, Popa says him and Action "never got into nothing" and that he "was actually standing talking to him like a father to a son." Wu was upset with the Vice signee for his comments about Ghostface. Killah himself had a few words for Bronson as well. Although the "Easy Rider" rapper tried to apologize, but the Ghost did not accept. Take a look at the photo above to read the entire message.
Someone there for the conversation was able to catch a bit of it on camera in the short video below. It's very difficult to make out what Popa Wu is saying, but the interaction does look rather mellow. However, Bronson doesn't appear to be here for whatever Wu is saying, or perhaps he's just overwhelmed with the situation and events of the day. Peep below and you be the judge.
