Since then the Internet has gone nuts, making a bunch of memes in the process. 'Ye's speech was so impactful that MTV executives are considering him as the host for next year's VMAs. The White House seems to be open to the Chicago native as a potential presidential candidate. White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said that he looks "forward to seeing what slogan he chooses to embroider on his campaign hat." Earnest, along with the President, are traveling aboard on Air Force One to Alaska.

While leaving a VMAs after party, Kanye, his wife Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner were mobbed by paparazzi who wanted a comment from Yeezy on his announcement.
